Terms of Service

1. The service

Find Best House provides research tools to help you make more informed property decisions: price estimates, sale history, suburb data, a shortlist for tracking properties, and introductions to third-party partners for reports, home loans and buyer's agent services. Coverage, features and data availability may change over time.

2. Accounts

You sign in with Google — we don't offer separate usernames and passwords. You're responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure; activity under your account is treated as authorised by you. Provide accurate information (including your mobile number, if you verify one) and keep it up to date.

3. Membership and billing

• A free tier is available with no payment details required.
• Paid membership unlocks additional features and is billed through Stripe. Prices and included features may change; we'll show current pricing before you subscribe.
• Where offered, a trial period (currently 14 days) does not require a card. If you upgrade to a paid plan afterwards, billing starts per the plan you choose.
• You can cancel a paid subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period already paid for; we don't provide refunds for partial periods.

4. No professional advice

Property estimates, valuations, and other information on Find Best House are indicative and for general research only. They are not financial, legal, taxation or professional valuation advice, and shouldn't be relied on as the sole basis for a purchase, sale, or lending decision. Always verify important details independently and consult a qualified professional before acting.

5. Partner requests

When you request a property report, home loan callback, or buyer's agent introduction, we pass your details to the partner handling that request (see our Privacy Policy) so they can contact you directly. The partner — not Find Best House — is responsible for the service they provide. We're not liable for a partner's conduct, advice, or the outcome of any engagement between you and them.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the service other than through features we provide for that purpose.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or other security controls.
• Use the service to build a competing product, or resell access to it without our written consent.
• Misuse the Chrome extension, including tampering with how it overlays data on third-party sites.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it for other users.

7. Chrome extension

The Find Best House Chrome extension overlays our data on supported real estate websites (including domain.com.au and realestate.com.au). It requires permission to read pages on those sites so it can show relevant Find Best House information alongside the listing you're viewing. Those third-party sites have their own terms of use, which continue to apply. We may change, restrict, or discontinue the extension's support for any site at any time.

8. Intellectual property

Find Best House's software, design, and original content are our property or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may use the service for your own personal property research; you may not copy, redistribute, or make commercial use of our content without permission. Data sourced from third parties — including CoreLogic, Google Maps, and the Australian Bureau of Statistics — remains the property of those providers and is used under their respective terms.

9. Third-party services

The service integrates third-party providers, including Google (sign-in and maps), Stripe (billing), and CoreLogic (property reports). We're not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party services; your use of them is also governed by their own terms.

10. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We may add, change, or remove features, and may suspend or discontinue the service (in whole or part) at any time, though we'll try to give notice for changes that materially affect paid members.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Find Best House is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including reliance on property estimates or data, or your dealings with a partner we introduced you to. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

12. Termination

You can stop using the service, or delete your account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or misuse the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the "Last revised" date above, and continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
